The #Headtubehugger is a luggage carrier which is designed to hold the Brompton front carrier block and clamps onto your 1" or 1 1/8" headtube. For easy height adjustments one bolt can be changed for a little quick release lever or a rotation lever. Send me an email if you're intersted in one of both extras.

• Fits headtubes with a diameter ranging from 31.1 - 33.4 mm when combined with a plastic Brompton seat sleeve, a typical 1" steel headtube measures at least 32mm including the paint.
• Fits headtubes with a diameter ranging from 35 - 37.3 mm without using the Brompton seat sleeve , a typical 1 1/8" steel headtube measures at least 36mm including the paint.
• The Velo Orange Neutrino 20" Mini Velo has a 37.3mm headtube, therefore the #Headtubehugger will fit, but right on the limit.
• The Brompton seat post measures 31.8 mm, therfore the #headtubehugger will also fit the Brompton seatpost when combined with the seat sleeve.
• The Brompton stems of all types (1992 onwards) have a 35 mm tube diameter so the headtubehugger fits pointing backwards to be able to still use the luggage block on the headtube. Not sure if this is really a usefull position as the bag on it should be small to not interfere with the front bag when steering. But it's possible...

Note: The #Headtubehugger's curvature can slightly addapt to the headtube diameter it is mounted on (check dimensions above). As the Brompton Front Carrier Block has an effect on the hugger's curvature you should bolt it to the Headtubehugger only after the hugger has been mounted on the headtube. Disassembly should be done in reverse order, so first take off the FCB.
