The idea behind the Stabiliser bridge is to support Brompton rear frames with bent eazy wheel mounts. If the mounts (vertical tubes with threaded ends) have serious cracks or even have fallen off :-( than you better go for the Repair bridge

Voor Bromptons waarbij de transportwiel-steuntjes aan het achterframe zijn verbogen is er een oplossing in de vorm van deze stabilisatiebrug. Zijn de steuntjes gescheurd of zelfst helemaal zijn afgebroken gebruik dan de 'Reparatiebrug'. Zo is een kapot achterframe altijd nog te redden mits er niet nog meer aan de hand is.

News: extra supplied 0.25mm spacer washers:

Replace the original M6 nut of the suspension block for the lower stack one supplied with this bridge. Remove the white and the black plastic washers. Use the supplied 0.25mm spacer washers to fill the gab between the bridge and the eazy wheel threads. Use as many as you can squeeze in and if necessarry combine some with a thicker ring supplied with the eazy wheels. These 0.25 mm rings are not stainless steel sobetter apply a coat of grease or oil to them.
